We frame job descriptions at RTS as a set of problems we want to solve. We're a startup, which means we don't have all of the answers today, and like any startup, we don't know the final form of our business yet. Justin TV became Social Cam and then became Twitch - we will go through our own evolution. We do know that our business is going to be talent-focused and then defined by the products and projects we take on with our talent.
First and foremost, we want to hire people who empathize with the problems we want to solve and, secondly, are creative and talented enough to jump on board and try to solve them with us. The talent manager will work directly with creators, helping build a scalable structure for their business to grow so they can focus on what they do best: content. Priorities will include working to organize/improve the creator’s business, whether it be identifying inefficiencies in existing processes, finding resources to support talent endeavors, or helping filter and weigh opportunities. This is an exciting opportunity to support the best talent in this industry.
